Salsa in Barcelona Barcelona is a great place to Dance Salsa to DJs or live Salsa Music and a wonderful vacation destination as well. Located right on the Mediterranean Sea, Barcelona has many beautiful beaches as well as other tourist attractions. There is even a Salsa kiosk on the San Sebastian Beach called Cacao Beach right on the edge of the sea. The clubs are elegant and comfortable, the DJs are excellent, the Metro runs late, and the people are friendly. Barcelona is also the home of the Barcelona Salsa Festival an international event held in August each year. The festival attracts profesional, amature, and social Salsa dancers from around the world.
